Body matters
DO YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY?
We use and abuse our body in so many ways but what do we do to bring it back to a healthy level?
How can we achieve this?
- Eating right
- Drinking
- Supplements
- Exercise
- Relaxation
- Looking after your skin
Eating the right amount of good food sources can make such a difference and promote short and long term benefits.
Drinking 8 glasses of water a day will help to flush out the toxins in your body and eliminating the effects of caffeine on your body by drinking herbal teas.
Taking supplements cannot replace a healthy diet but it can be beneficial as all nutrients cannot be stored from food intake and may need to be increased at different times in our lives such as (pregnancy, health ailments, menopause, the elderly).
Exercise can have a powerful all round effect on our lives. It improves the function of the immune system, improves sleep quality, stress, overall fitness and well-being and combined with a good diet plan aids weight loss.
With the busy lives we lead these days it pays off to unwind and take the stresses out of the day, such as (relaxing in a hot bath, having a massage, having a foot spa, sauna, Jacuzzi).
Looking after your skin should come high up on your list, as your face is the first thing someone notices about you. Investing in a good cleanser & moisturiser, having a sauna, exercise, diet and taking supplements can all have positive benefits on the health and visibility of your skin.
